| The additional projects package includes the restoration and improvement of several of the historical interior and exterior spaces. Enhancements include the City Council Chambers Room, the exterior building lighting and south lawn lighting, and improvements to the south lawn including the Flint Fountain. |

| Replicated Antique Elevator Cabs |
|
| Thanks to Project Restore, seven new interior elevator cabs are being duplicated to match the original historical cab design from the 1930’s. These cabs will provide vertical transportation for the public from the first floor to the twenty-second floor. |

| Exterior accent Lighting and Lindbergh Beacon Restoration |
|
| Several lighting mock-ups for the exterior of the building were held to test the exterior lighting design in early 2001. The south lawn is also undergoing a new lighting design. Once these lighting systems are installed, both the building and south lawn will be lit and City Hall will recapture its place at night on the downtown skyline. |

| Council Chambers |
|
| Renovation of the Council Chambers included a new horseshoe arrangement for the Council's members that placed the Council Members facing the public gallery. New audio/video systems were installed to better the acoustics of the room. The marble columns, limestone walls and decorative painted ceiling were cleaned. |
